Interested in serving as a trustee of the Voorheesville Public Library? Nominating petitions for a 3-year term, starting July 1, 2026, are now available at the library. Petitions are due Monday, April 20, by 5:00 p.m. Candidates must be 18+ and live in the Voorheesville School District.

Our mission is to be a welcoming and safe space where anyone can freely access materials, programs and experiences intended to expand and enrich their lives. We strive to promote literacy, community involvement, lifelong learning and intellectual freedom.

Board Meetings and Minutes

All meetings are in person and open to the public. In the event of extraordinary circumstances, videoconference technology may be used. Budget discussion begins in January and concludes in April. Dates shown in blue link to approved minutes. There is no meeting in August or November.

Meeting agendas and supporting documents will be made available online at least 3 days prior to meeting.
