Weather or Emergency Closings will be on our homepage, telephone and reported on local news stations. If the Voorheesville schools are delayed for 2 hours or closed, our youth programs will be cancelled for the day.

Directions to Voorheesville Public Library

From the West
Route 20 to Route 155. Turn right on 155 and follow to the traffic circle. Turn right on Rt. 85A. At traffic light, turn right onto Rt. 156. At fork, turn right onto County Route 208. The library is ½ mile down the road on the right just before the railroad tracks.

From the East
Take Route I-90 to Exit 4 – Slingerlands/Voorheesville – Rt. 85. Follow 85 to the traffic circle by the shopping plaza and turn right to continue on 85. Travel through Slingerlands until you reach Rt. 85A (about 4 miles) and turn right onto Rt.85A. At traffic light, turn right onto Rt. 156. At fork, turn right onto County Route 208. The library is ½ mile down the road on the right just before the railroad tracks.

From the North
Follow the Northway to the end and turn right onto Route 20. Turn left on 155 and follow to the traffic circle. Turn right on Rt. 85A. At traffic light, turn right onto Rt. 156. At fork, turn right onto County Route 208. The library is ½ mile down the road on the right just before the railroad tracks.

From Altamont
Take route 156 to Voorheesville. Turn left onto Country Route 208. The library is ½ mile down the road on the right just before the railroad tracks.
