Your membership helps raise funds that supplement the Library budget, encourages Library awareness throughout the community, and provides Library program volunteer opportunities and more.
To join, email the Friends at friends@voorpl.org. You can also pick up a membership envelope in the Library or complete and mail this membership form.
The Friends generally meet every month and hold an Annual Membership Meeting one evening in the Spring. Check the Library online calendar to confirm dates.
The Friends organize fundraisers for the library throughout the year, including the Winter Boutique (December 6-8, 2024) and Fall Book Sale (September 20-22, 2024). ENCORE! Books helps fund local literacy initiatives. Many thanks to all the volunteers for their ongoing time and generous donations.
Friends of the Library weekly book sales take place in the blue sheds behind the library. Books for all ages are available, as well as CDs, DVDs, audiobook, and puzzles. Nothing costs more than $1.00.
