Friends of the Voorheesville Public Library

Join the Friends

Your membership helps raise funds that supplement the Library budget, encourages Library awareness throughout the community, and provides Library program volunteer opportunities and more.

To join, email the Friends at friends@voorpl.org. You can also pick up a membership envelope in the Library or complete and mail this membership form.

The Friends generally meet every month and hold an Annual Membership Meeting one evening in the Spring. Check the Library online calendar to confirm dates.

Support the Library

The Friends organize fundraisers for the library throughout the year. The 2019 Winter Boutique was a big hit again this December, as was the Fall Annual Book Sale. ENCORE! Books helped fund local literacy initiatives this past summer. Many thanks to all the volunteers for their time and for their generous donations to ENCORE! Books. The library is currently not accepting book donations until ENCORE! Books re-opens.

Donate to the Friends at no cost to you:

Go to https://smile.amazon.com/  and select “Friends of the Voorheesville Central School District Public Library” as the charity. Amazon automatically donates one half of 1% of your purchases directly to the Friends.
