Virtual Live Family Concert by SteveSongs

Steve Songs is Coming!

Get ready to rock and “Imagine Your Story” with a virtual live concert by SteveSongs-TM from PBS Kids! The performance will be special for the Voorheesville community and tailored to our community’s children and families with active engagement.

Calling all dancers and singers and those who love being in front of the camera!

Do you have some awesome dance moves? Do you like belting out a good song? Do you want to be a star featured in the Voorheesville Public Library’s very own special July 8th virtual live performance with SteveSongs of PBS kids? Send in your video recordings dancing to “Reading Rocks” and/or singing to “Grumpy Boy.” Video tutorials are provided below for you to learn the simple and fun dance moves. Parents are encouraged to join the fun! This can be a family activity.

Parents/caregivers:

Send video recordings via Google drive to Gail Brown at gail.brown@voorpl.org. It is best to upload the video onto your Google drive and then share it with Gail. Deadline for submission is by noon on June 29. Mrs. Brown will send the videos to Mr. Steve, who will incorporate them into the live virtual performance to be held on July 8th for you, your family, and your friends to see! How cool is that?

It is understood that with the submission of the video recording, the parent/caregiver sending the video consents to having the video used during the July 8th Facebook Live Steve Songs Concert Event, which is being sponsored by the Voorheesville Public Library. Please do not use any names in the video recordings. No names will be utilized in conjunction with the videos.
