Walk-in Browsing and Curbside Pickup:
Walk-in visits are limited to 10 people at a time, 30-minute time limit.
During this period of transition, we strongly recommend that all individuals wear a mask while browsing in the library to ensure the safety of our staff and other patrons. All un-vaccinated individuals must wear a mask.
Anyone with a Voorheesville Public Library card can now enjoy thousands of free videos from Kanopy, a company committed to streaming high-quality films that inspire, educate and entertain to libraries around the globe. Kanopy’s unique selection offers something for everyone, from award winning indie films to important and timely documentaries, to foreign films, popular cinema, children’s shows and more.
May is National Bike Month, so get out on your bicycle! Post a picture of your journey to the Voorheesville Family Bicycling Day’s Facebook, Instagram or Twitter pages with the hashtag #vvillebikes. Your first submission scores your family a prize bag at the library, while supplies last. For every 100 posts, the VFBD will donate one bicycle to the library’s “Library of Things”! The May Community Bicycling Challenge is sponsored by the Village of Voorheesville, Voorheesville Community & School Foundation and the Voorheesville Public Library.
The Voorheesville Public Library has online program offerings for all ages and interests. We’ve called them “@ the Voorpl on demand.” Take a look at all the webpages where you can virtually find, “Your place for education, research, and special events.” There’s quite a variety of things to watch, listen to, discuss, make and share.
