SUMMER READING IS REWARDING!
The deadline for recording reading and missions is by midnight on Friday, August 7. Each registrant (infant – grade 12) who has earned 1,000 points in the Voorheesville Public Library’s Summer Adventure will be entered into the random drawings for their age group. Beginning on August 8, one winner from each age group will be randomly generated and get their choice of prize packages. Subsequent winners will be pulled until all remaining packages for each age group are awarded. Prizes will be scheduled for Curbside Pick-Up during the library’s open hours. Someone from the youth services department will contact the winners and arrange pick up.
Each of our youth Summer Reading Program participants who record any reading or missions by midnight on Friday, August 7 will get to pick out a free book from the prize cart during the library’s curbside hours. The cart will be outside the Prospect Street entrance, from Monday, August 10 to Saturday, August 22. Please use the provided hand sanitizer, wear a mask, and wait if another family is making a selection. In the event of rain, the cart will be unavailable on that day.
