      High Demand Collection
Looking for the newest bestsellers or the book everyone is talking about? Skip the long reserve lines. The Library has a new High Demand Collection. These titles check out for 7 days with no renewals to move them quickly. They cannot be requested, so they go right back on display for you to find while browsing. You can find them next to the New Fiction with the purple 7-day stickers.

Check out the library’s Nook Simple Touch and Nook Color eReaders. Collections include fiction, romance, science fiction, fantasy, nonfiction, young adult, mystery and thriller, children’s books and picture books. Nooks are available for a four-week loan to Voorheesville Central School District residents. See our eReader lending page for details.

      eBooks and Audiobooks
Our library offers free downloadable titles through OverDrive for a wide variety of devices. We also offer digital magazines through Flipster. For more information about our digital collection, see our Downloadables page which includes a links to help guides for the services.

      GoPro Action Cameras
The Library now has two GoPro Hero Session video cameras to loan! These little black cubes are perfect for first-time action camera users, and we’ve got all the clips and accessories you’ll need. To get started, just push the shutter button and start recording, or use the provided Smart Remote for more advanced options. The Session is capable of shooting 1440p30 or 1080p60 video or 8 megapixel, 10 frames-per-second burst photos. Visit our GoPro webpage to learn more and check on availability.

      3D Printing at the Library
Curious about 3D printing? Learn how this technology works by using our Lulzbot Mini2 3D Printer. Our small, easy-to-use machine can print designs up to 6 1/4 inches cubed; some larger items can be printed as assemblages. You can find an item on a site like Thingiverse, or create a 3D object yourself using Tinkercad, SketchUp, or another CAD application. Patrons are welcome to submit files for printing, and are charged 20 cents per gram of material used. Read our policy here. Make an appointment to learn more, submit a file for printing, or get questions answered at the Information Desk or by emailing reference@voorpl.org.

      Seed Library
The Library has a lending library for seeds. Borrow vegetable, flower, herb, or grain seeds (including a variety of heirloom options,) grow them, and share the harvest with fellow community members. For more information, visit our webpage or ask at the Information Desk.
